Conclusion
The goal of collectivism is to protect the people we love from the physical and psychological dangers of the mega-economy by making absolutely sure that we have everything we need in abundance and better than what's available externally. External entities usually do not have your best interests in mind, and it's mostly because they have no idea who you are.
The solution to the violence of the mega-economy is to not have a mega-economy. Things that are indefinitely large must be decentralized and tiered so as to scale.
Decentralization is a lot like privatization. While some services must be centralized, like world law and transportation, most everything else should not, so as to maintain scalability and efficiency. For example, hospitals that specialize in conditions that cannot be managed inside collectives could be run by a collective, but we must plan for hospital care to be an exception, not an inevitability.
Group self-sufficiency enables sustainability in every sense of the word - environmentally, psychologically, fiscally. Self-sufficiency inherently reduces our dependency on non-local resources, thereby reducing traffic in both the physical sense of networks of roads, sewers, gas, water and electrical lines, etc., in the economic sense of sales, advertising, banking, etc., and in the governmental sense of trying to maintain equilibrium in every way the system breaks, or breaks us.
Collectivism eliminates unnecessary work for humanity while simultaneously nourishing peaceful, stable, and safe family neighborhoods. With a secure foundation, wasted efforts can be re-allocated toward meaningful pursuits and world peace.
The world's insane & archaic set of totally incorrect systems for economics, religion & politics are to blame, and we must demand something better to believe in.
Neighborhoods have become cookie-cutter, because we don't own or care for them. Imagine a beautiful future world where traveling is full of wondrous experiences of being welcomed into thriving communities of incredibly unique cultures and lush landscapes.
